October 1, 2023  The Ingiosi Lab turned 1-year-old!

September 1, 2023  |  The Ingiosi Lab received its first Notice of Award! With an R00 through the BRAIN Initiative, we will investigate the role of astrocytes and astroglial-neuronal interactions in sleep homeostasis.

Publication Alert

August 9, 2023  |  "Activation of basal forebrain astrocytes induces wakefulness without compensatory changes in sleep drive" was published in The Journal of Neuroscience highlighting some Ashley's postdoctoral work with Dr. Marcos Frank.

SLEEP 2023

June 5, 2023  |  Ashley was invited to speak in the Leadership Development Workshop at SLEEP 2023. She also gave a talk in a symposium titled "Advances in our Understanding of Neural Activity During REM Sleep."

UCSD LAUCH

March 23, 2023  |  Ashley was selected to participate Leading the Advancement of Underrepresented Neuroscientists for Change (LAUNCH) program at the University of California San Diego—a year-long, mentored grant writing and professional development program.
